Aaron Rosemond, 40, died shortly before midnight on Yarmouth Avenue near Bond Hill Park in Cincinnati’s Bond Hill neighborhood.
Officers arrived after reports of gunfire and found Aaron Rosemond with severe injuries, and officials pronounced Aaron Rosemond deceased at the scene.
Detectives and crime scene personnel spent several hours documenting the area, placing multiple evidence markers along portions of Yarmouth Avenue.
Authorities said the investigation covered more than a block near Reading Road, close to Bond Hill Park and routes including Interstate 75 and Reading Road.
Officials have not announced what happened before the incident, and they have not shared whether witnesses or nearby cameras may assist the inquiry.
