Jason Michalek passed away suddenly at age 48, leaving family members and loved ones grieving a deeply painful absence.
A fundraiser created by Kaitlyn Michalek on June 9, 2026, says Jason was a beloved parent, child, and uncle.
Jason’s 17-year-old child, Morgan Michalek, graduated from high school last week and plans to begin college this fall while facing this difficult time.
The fundraiser had raised $1,300 toward a $3,500 goal through 15 donations to help with funeral and burial costs and Morgan’s college expenses.
Jason’s mother, Carol, who is nearly 80, now carries both emotional strain and the responsibility of arranging a final farewell for the youngest child in the family.
