Orillia Community Mourns Justin Van Allen, 47, After June 2 Passing While Family Receives Support Through Memorial Fundraiser
Justin Van Allen of Orillia, ON, passed away on June 2 at the age of 47 while walking dogs in a public park.
Justin leaves behind spouse Cindy, children Faith, Jaden, McKenna, Nathanael, and Joshua, and grandchildren Ivan and Maxwell.
Friends, peers, co-workers, and loved ones remember Justin as a kind mentor and steady family support who made a meaningful difference in many lives.
Johnny Waite created a memorial fundraiser on June 9, 2026, in Justin’s honour, raising $63,730 CAD toward a $110,000 CAD goal through 551 donations.
The fundraiser will help with funeral costs, counseling, and future needs as the family faces the days ahead.
